Since the 1980s, we’ve been involved in plant, manufacturing and process design, including multiple facilities of our own. We have designed from the ground-up, manufacturing facilities, and have provided our customers with assistance from plant layout, system sizing, cost analysis, quality systems, material handling, inventory management, and much more.
To give an example of what we are capable of: in 1994, we started our family plastics business, as a means to produce our own products. We started with an empty field, and using our experience from visiting many manufacturing facilities, gleaning the good, and considering the areas that would need improvement, we built a 10,000 square foot facility, optimized for our brand of manufacturing. We developed process feed systems, the building and process electrical system, HVAC, and material handling systems. To support our manufacturing, we developed a quality system, production and maintenance schedules, process development, and strived to provide top-notch customer service through a culture of customer-appreciation. Through this experience, we realized that manufacturing design is not a one-and-done process, it requires continual up-keep, from process refinement to staying on-top of technology. Since selling the plastics business, we have continued our process for plant design, and have successfully assisted in process development for not just plastics, but also for many other industries.
